Breakdown Collection & Recovery UK-Wide
Broken down at the side of the road? VehicleMove collects broken-down cars and vans anywhere in the UK and gets them to a garage, your home, or wherever they need to go. Breakdown collection is £2 per mile from pickup to drop-off plus a £150 base fee, with the £150 emergency call-out applied to every job. No waiting on a recovery truck, no separate call-out charges. I come out and drive your vehicle myself — no support car — and get it moved.
Emergency Call-Out Applied
Breakdowns don't keep office hours. The £150 emergency call-out is applied to every breakdown job — that's what makes it a breakdown collection rather than a standard move.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a breakdown collection?
Anything where your vehicle has stopped where it shouldn't be — a flat battery, a mechanical fault, a warning light you don't want to risk, or a car that's been sitting dead and needs moving. If it's road-legal and can be driven, we collect it.
How is breakdown collection priced?
£2 per mile for the direct pickup-to-drop-off distance, plus a £150 base fee, plus the £150 emergency call-out. So a 100-mile recovery is £150 + £200 + £150 = £500 all in. Use the quote form for an exact price on your postcodes.
Do you charge extra for the emergency call-out?
The emergency call-out is applied to every breakdown job — it's a flat £150, already in the quote we send you. No hidden add-ons, no per-hour charges on top.
What if my car won't start?
Tell us when you get in touch. We'll assess what's needed — if it can be jump-started or driven, we'll get it moved. If it genuinely needs a flatbed, we'll be straight with you about that up front.
How quickly can you get to me?
We aim to be with you as fast as possible — typically within a few hours depending on your location. Call us or use the quote form and we'll confirm an ETA straight away.
Where can you take my broken-down vehicle?
Anywhere in the UK. Most jobs go to a garage for repair, but we also take vehicles back home, to a dealer, or to a specialist. You tell us the postcode, we get it there.
